EFFECTIVE COOLING METHOD FOR LAPTOPS
One of the most challenged tasks for the development in electronic circuits is the temperature rise in the semi-conductor devices. Placing millions of circuits upon one board heats the device involving the circuit to a greater extent. This is because of the property of the semiconductor devices encountered in the circuit. That is why a huge internet server (involving high capacity RAM) is been kept in a cool place to dissipate the high amount of heat generated by the circuits. IBM research centre at St. Petersburg have come up with the idea of nanoelectronics to be used for the radiation above the substrate. Most of the semiconductor devices which are now produced have these nanotubes in place which passes the heat generated to the substrate which is sufficiently larger than the tubes to dissipate heat. Thus the overall cooling of the device (say laptop) is enhanced.
